About the Role
Coffee Carriage is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Shift Manager to join our team. This is a part-time position focused on weekend operations, with the opportunity to work up to two additional weekdays each week. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the team to maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Support, motivate, and guide team members during busy service periods.
Handle opening and closing procedures.
Manage cash handling and till reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety standards.
Resolve customer queries and issues professionally.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, retail, or a café environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced setting.
A positive, hands-on approach with excellent customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability on weekends.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices is desirable.
