An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Leadership Support Team, providing support to the wider Management Team and services within one of the most forward‑thinking local authorities in the country. If you are highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this could be the role for you.
As a Leadership Support Officer, you will play a key role in enabling our senior leaders to deliver excellent services to our communities. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, working closely with managers and teams across the directorates. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diary management and coordination of meetings with internal and external partners.
- Handling correspondence, including supporting responses to Freedom of Information requests, Member enquiries, and MP correspondence.
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring timely follow‑up of actions.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing confidential information with discretion.
- Using a wide range of IT systems to produce high‑quality documents, reports, and presentations.
- Supporting wider directorate functions and contributing to efficient and effective service delivery.
