We are looking for a Courier Driver who can take ownership of our local delivery routes. You aren't just driving a van; you are the face of our company to the community. You will represent our brand at every doorstep, bridging the gap between busy dispatch centers and happy customers. You are the final, crucial link in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Route Management: Plan and execute daily delivery schedules across Leeds and surrounding areas. Ensure all parcels arrive safely and on time.
- End-to-End Service: Lead the process from depot loading and parcel scanning to accurate vehicle organization and professional customer handoff.
- Safety Leadership: Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle checks and maintain strict adherence to road safety standards and traffic regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Don't just drop off packages. Provide polite, efficient, and professional customer service at every single delivery location.
- Communication & Tracking: Update delivery statuses using handheld PDA scanners. Maintain clear contact with dispatch regarding route progress or unexpected traffic delays.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1+ years of driving experience (multi-drop courier or delivery experience preferred, but full training is provided).
- Licence: A valid UK Driving Licence (Category B) is non-negotiable. Clean record preferred (maximum of 6 penalty points).
- Tooling: You are comfortable using smartphone apps, handheld scanners (PDAs), and GPS navigation tools.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Leeds road network and West Yorkshire routes is required to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Mindset: You are reliable and adaptable. You know how to stay calm during peak traffic, handle physical parcels safely (up to 20kg), and complete your routes with pride.
Pay: £25,600.00-£29,000.00 per year
