Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Services Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various office tasks, providing excellent customer service, and supporting organisational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring safe staffing levels and appropriate shift cover.
- Develop, review, and update individual care plans to ensure they accurately reflect service users' needs and preferences.
- Complete and review risk assessments, implementing measures to promote the safety and wellbeing of service users and staff.
- Prepare and submit reports for Nottinghamshire County Council accurately and within required deadlines.
- Carry out regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, CQC standards, and legislative requirements.
- Conduct spot checks on care staff to monitor the quality of care, adherence to procedures, and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and electronic care management systems.
- Provide general office administration, including answering telephone and email enquiries, filing, document preparation, and data entry.
- Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care and resolve queries.
- Remain flexible to provide direct care and complete care calls during periods of staff shortages or unexpected absences.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working within the health and social care sector is desirable.
- Confident using computers and able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when maintaining records and completing reports.
- Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to respond to changing operational needs.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable (if required for the role).
