Lead a High-Quality Supported Living Service
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead an established Supported Living Service in Birmingham, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Mental Health needs.
Offering £42,000–£48,000 per annum, this position would suit an experienced care manager who understands CQC-regulated services and is passionate about delivering safe, person-centred support while developing a strong and effective staff team.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of service quality, compliance and team performance while helping the people supported to achieve greater independence and positive outcomes.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the supported living service.
You will provide strong leadership to the staff team, maintain high standards of safeguarding and quality, and ensure the service operates in accordance with relevant CQC regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Supported Living Service.
- Maintain high standards of CQC compliance and service quality.
- Lead, supervise, motivate and develop the staff team.
- Promote safe, effective and person-centred support.
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices.
- Oversee care/support plans, risk assessments and quality assurance.
- Support individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs to achieve positive outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with families, commissioners and external professionals.
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and effective service delivery.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Previous management experience within a CQC-regulated adult social care service.
- Strong experience within Supported Living.
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health needs.
- Good working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge.
- Proven staff leadership and management experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Relevant health and social care / leadership qualification appropriate to the role.
