Are you highly organised and driven with a passion for providing the highest standards of patient care? We are seeking an experienced administrator to support and co-ordinate the risk and governance pathways within the Head and Neck team at University Hospitals Dorset.
This is an exciting time to join our team, as we work towards completion of the transformation process of all Head and Neck services within UHD. You will play a critical role in policy and procedure development for our newly re-structured teams, helping to shape the future of our service provision across Dorset.
To coordinate and support the process for investigating and responding to concerns, complaints and incidents for the directorate.
To provide administrative support for clinical governance meetings and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings across the directorate.
To provide administrative support for risk and governance reporting.
To provide risk and governance support and cover for the administration processes within the directorate as and when required .
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.

The successful candidate will w ork closely with the Directorate Management Team and Care Group Risk and Governance Co-ordinator to ensure that communication is effective and timely .
W ork collaboratively with and accept guidance from the Patient Experience Team and be the point of contact s hould there be any query regarding a complaint or concern
Triage and fully understand complaint s , concern s and incident s ; break ing down the issues to understand who will to be involved in the investigation and response .
E nsure that the available information or evidence provided is reviewed for relevancy and entirety.
Deal with queries involving confidential documents regarding a wide variety of information, recognising when issues should be referred and to whom.
