Knowledge, Education and Qualifications:
Understanding of the impact of trauma and ability to work in a trauma informed way
within a PIE
A good understanding of the experiences and issues facing those who have experienced homelessness
Good understanding of safeguarding and what constitutes abuse
Knowledge of skills necessary for people to sustain independent tenancies
Knowledge of local Communities, and voluntary organisations and agencies
Qualification in housing/ &/ or social care
Good analytical skills to assess needs and establish effective support of residents. Competent in risk assessment/ safety planning
Ability to build strong working relationships with residents while maintaining professional boundaries
Ability to work as part of the team, but also on own initiative and, at times,
unsupervised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels.
IT proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word etc.
Effective time management skills
Highly committed to improving the lives of those who have experienced
homelessness and helping them achieve successful resettlement
Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/ weekends and be part of the on-call rota
Work within the boundaries of the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures
Maintain and observe conditions of Health and Safety

Demonstrate and convey a passion for the work of IMPAKT Housing & Support including an understanding of the work we do and the challenges faced.
