You will work alongside experienced stylists, gaining hands-on experience in a busy salon environment while developing advanced techniques in cutting, colouring, styling, consultation, and client care. Responsibilities
- Support senior stylists by preparing workstations, organising tools, and assisting during client appointments.
- Learn and perform advanced cutting, colouring, foiling, toning, and styling techniques under supervision.
- Carry out detailed client consultations, offering professional advice on styles, colours, treatments, and maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
- Assist with salon maintenance, including cleaning tools, sanitising stations, and managing stock and supplies.
- Participate in structured training sessions, practical workshops, and mentoring to enhance technical knowledge and confidence.
- Upsell salon services and retail products to support client satisfaction and salon growth.
- Follow all salon health and safety procedures, professional standards, and industry best practice.
