Main Duties
- To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen, and assist in the running of the kitchen in their absence
- To maintain the standard of cooking set by the Head Chef for all meals in restaurant, bedrooms & events
- To ensure along with the Head Chef that EHO regulations are adhered to and documentation is recorded
- To assist in compiling menus when required, keeping the cost within the agreed GP
- To follow correct portion sizes and presentation as set out by the Head Chef
- To maintain stock rotation of raw and cooked ingredients
- Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays (paid overtime)
What we are looking for
- Proven experience at CDP level or similar in a professional kitchen
- Excellent time manager, organisation and communication
- Calm, composed and effective under pressure
- Passion for food and the hospitality industry
- Ability to work on own or in a team
- Commitment to spotlessly clean kitchen and high standards
