About the Role
The Swan & Salmon Pub is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Shift Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with retail, hospitality, or customer service experience who enjoys leading a team and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting team members during shifts
- Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer queries
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Handling cash, card transactions, and till reconciliation
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock management
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety
- Helping to train and motivate team members
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
