Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety standards.
- Support medication administration processes, ensuring correct dosages and documentation.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensation and patient interactions in accordance with data protection laws.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.
- Provide guidance and support to care staff regarding medication protocols and procedures.
- Ensure the pharmacy area complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably within a care home environment.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care standards.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent errors.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals and care staff.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a team-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications in pharmacy services recognised within the UK healthcare system.

Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
