Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Operate and maintain various mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Perform grinding, milling, and welding tasks to fabricate or repair components as required.
- Utilise CAD software such as SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts or assemblies.
- Conduct assembly of mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling.
- Assist with plastics injection moulding processes, including setup, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations essential for precise work.
- Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements or modifications.
Skills
- Proficient in grinding, milling, welding, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and general knowledge of CAD principles.
- Familiarity with plastics injection moulding processes and associated machinery.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling for fabrication and assembly tasks.
