Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pub-style dishes with efficiency and attention to quality
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency in meal presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist in meal assembly, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Support food inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed
- Collaborate with serving staff to coordinate meal delivery and address special dietary requests
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or pub setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and communication
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including grilling, frying, baking, and assembling dishes
- Previous experience in serving or interacting with customers is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A valid driving license and vehicle due to our village location
