Full-Time Self-Employed Dog Groomer
The Partick Groom Room is a newly opened independent grooming salon in Glasgow’s West End, and we’re looking for an experienced full-time dog groomer to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently and, importantly, is motivated to build and maintain their own loyal client base within the salon.
The salon will actively market and promote our groomers and generate bookings through our social media, online booking system, local marketing and wider pet business. However, we’re looking for someone who will work alongside us to grow their diary — promoting their availability, sharing their work on social media and building relationships with new and returning clients.

- Experienced dog groomer capable of completing grooms independently from start to finish
- Excellent standards of grooming, handling and animal welfare
- Friendly, professional and confident communicating with customers
- Reliable and looking to establish a consistent, full-time diary
- Comfortable promoting their work and availability on social media
- Proactive about attracting new clients and encouraging repeat bookings
- Keen to become a long-term part of a growing salon

Pay & working arrangement
This is a self-employed, commission-based position on a 50/50 split.
Estimated earnings of £24,000–£40,000 per year, dependent on the number and value of appointments completed. This is not a guaranteed salary and there is excellent scope to increase earnings as your diary and repeat client base grow.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from groomers who want somewhere they can establish themselves, develop a strong client base and build a busy long-term diary.
