About the Role
As Room Leader, you will:
- Lead a room of children aged 0–5, delivering high-quality care and education following the EYFS
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff within your room
- Plan and implement stimulating, engaging activities tailored to children’s needs
- Maintain accurate records, including observations, assessments, and learning journals
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are met
- Collaborate with parents and carers to support children’s development
- Contribute to the overall success of the nursery and daily operations
Hours: 40-41.25 per week, flexible patterns considered
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
- Experience leading a room or team in an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to mentor and inspire your team while maintaining hands-on practice
- Confident in working with parents and external agencies

Eligibility & Safeguarding Requirements

- Be 17 or older (Ofsted requirement)
- Live in the UK
- Hold valid Right to Work in the UK
