Khayā opened in March 2026, and has been so overwhelmed by the positive response to our acai cafe! We are now looking to expand our team, and continue tovalues high quality service, hospitality, and the thoughtful details that elevate everyday experiences. Duties:
- Ensure the café and retail space is consistently clean, well-organized, and fully stocked.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, new products, and current promotions.
- Accurately take customer orders and prepare light food items and cold beverages.
- Operate coffee machines and prepare high-quality hot drinks in accordance with barista standards.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all preparation and service areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as required, and assist with stock control.
Desirable/Required qualities:
- Previous barista experience in a fast paced coffee shop
- Previous experience in speciality coffee is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
- Good energy with a team first mindset
- Confidence working in a fast paced environment
- A warm, guest experience focused attitude
- Part time applicants, eg. university students, are strongly encouraged to apply

- Must be able to work weekdays & weekends
