Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide attentive guest service by checking on tables regularly, addressing needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining environment for everyone
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- A genuine passion for guest services, hospitality, and creating positive dining experiences
