We are seeking a part-time Dental Nurse and Receptionist to join our friendly team. No orthodontic experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
We are a busy NHS and private Specialist Orthodontic practice located in Mickleover, Derby. We focus on a team approach to patient care and believe the right candidate will fit well within our existing team of 14 staff members. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, good motivation, strong computer skills, and a reliable, flexible approach to work.
This dual-role position will involve a combination of dental nursing and reception duties. Clinical responsibilities will include providing chairside support to our orthodontists and orthodontic therapists, assisting with orthodontic records such as intra-oral scans and clinical photographs, and supporting the smooth running of clinical sessions. Full training will be provided for these duties.
Reception responsibilities will include welcoming patients, managing appointments, answering telephone and email enquiries, processing payments, and helping to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining positive relationships with our patients and their families.
The practice has recently been extended and offers a modern working environment with up-to-date equipment, including intra-oral scanners, digital cameras, an on-site laboratory with a 3D printer, a dedicated X-ray suite, and specialised orthodontic software.
