Lead the future of End User Computing at City
City Facilities Management is a large, technically advanced facilities management company based in Glasgow, supporting colleagues and customers across the UK As our business continues to evolve, technology plays a critical role in enabling reliable service delivery, operational efficiency, cyber resilience, and a great colleague experience
We are looking for an experienced EUC Team Leader to lead, develop, and inspire our End User Compute team This is a key leadership role within IT Operations, responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused EUC services while helping shape the future of workplace technology across City
City has a strong Microsoft technology foundation, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot, endpoint security, and modern device management Alongside this, we are introducing Google Chromebooks and Chrome OS as part of our modern workplace strategy We therefore need someone who can confidently lead a hybrid Microsoft and Google end user computing environment, with the technical credibility and leadership capability to support business-wide adoption
What makes this role stand out?
This is not just a traditional support team leader role You will help drive a significant workplace transformation programme, supporting the move from a predominantly Windows-based estate to a more flexible, cloud-first, Chrome-enabled device strategy
You will:
- Lead and develop a team of EUC engineers, creating a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused culture
- Own the day-to-day operation of EUC services, ensuring incidents, requests, problems, service levels, and KPIs are managed effectively
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical and operational issues across the EUC estate
- Help deliver modern workplace transformation, including Google Chromebook and Chrome OS adoption
- Support the integration of Microsoft and Google platforms within a hybrid enterprise environment
- Drive service improvement, automation, self-service, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with IT colleagues, business stakeholders, and third-party partners to improve the colleague technology experience
- Support device compliance, endpoint security, lifecycle management, and operational governance across Windows and Chrome devices

Given City’s move towards Chrome-enabled working, experience with Google Chromebooks, Chrome OS, Google Workspace, Google Admin Console, Chrome Enterprise, or Google Cloud Platform is essential You do not need to know everything on day one, but you must have the capability, curiosity, and confidence to lead the team through this transition and build Chrome expertise across the EUC function

- Manage and support Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Autopilot, and endpoint security tooling
- Support Google Chromebook and Chrome OS environments, including device management, policy configuration, user support, and adoption
- Administer or support Google Workspace and Google Admin Console capabilities where required
- Support migration from traditional Windows-based working to cloud-first and Chrome-enabled solutions
- Ensure endpoint security, compliance, governance, patching, and lifecycle controls are maintained across all EUC devices
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve the colleague technology experience

- Experience managing service queues, incidents, requests, problems, SLAs, and customer expectations
- Ability to support workplace transformation, technology adoption, and change management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
- A customer-first mindset with strong ownership of service quality and colleague experience

The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Leads by example and creates trust across the team
