Warehouse Operative

As we continue to grow across the UK and Europe, we’re looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team at Silverfish HQ. You’ll play a key role in making sure our products move efficiently through the warehouse and out to customers with accuracy and care.
Your mission
You’ll help keep our warehouse operation running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and despatched accurately while maintaining high standards across the warehouse.

What you’ll be getting stuck into
× Picking goods for customer orders.
× Checking accuracy of picked orders and packing goods for despatch.
× Processing despatches using courier systems.
× Receiving incoming goods and assisting with unloading deliveries.
× Putting away incoming and returned stock.
× Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse.
× Assisting with stock takes and inventory control.
× Using manual handling equipment safely and effectively.
× Following health, safety, and security procedures.
× Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
× Supporting the Warehouse Manager with additional duties where required.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
· Good numeracy, literacy, and organisational skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Reliable with good timekeeping.
· A positive attitude and team focused approach.
· Willingness to work in a physically active role.
Desirable:
· Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
· GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
· Experience using warehouse or courier systems.
