As a Mortgage Administrator at Weycroft Financial Services Limited, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks related to mortgage processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the loan lifecycle. You will also provide administrative support to the Advisers and Practice Manager ensuring a smooth and efficient client service. You will be responsible for obtaining case updates from lenders, solicitors and other third parties, maintaining accurate client records, handling correspondence, and managing administrative tasks to support advisers. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a professional environment.
Duties
- Process and check new business applications and associated paperwork, ensuring timely submission to providers
- Carry out electronic identity verification of clients where appropriate.
- Chase outstanding applications and client requests to ensure prompt completion.
- Maintain accurate client records by uploading relevant documentation and correspondence to the CRM system.
- Create, manage, and complete tasks in internal systems as per company procedures.
- Verify financial information provided by clients, including income, employment details, and credit history.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the mortgage process.
- Handle incoming telephone calls professionally, directing them as necessary.
- Receive and process incoming documentation or correspondence related to clients.
- Ensure all required documentation is provided to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as assigned by advisers, managers, or team leaders.
- Promote a professional and respectful working environment, adhering to company policies.
- Completion of other reasonable duties, as defined by the Senior members of the team.
Requirements
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
- Experience of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Professionalism, discretion, and adherence to confidentiality.
- Previous experience or knowledge of financial services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic working knowledge of FCA Rules, Guidance Notes and Commitments that apply to job role. Not essential; training will be provided.
