Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Asbestos Removal Supervisor to lead and oversee asbestos abatement projects with precision and safety. Duties
- Supervise asbestos removal activities, ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage a team of asbestos removal technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor work quality, safety adherence, and progress against project timelines.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of all asbestos removal activities, including safety logs, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure proper disposal of asbestos materials in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising asbestos removal projects or similar hazardous material abatement activities.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 project management software for scheduling and planning purposes.
- Supervising experience in construction or environmental remediation fields is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to asbestos handling, including OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to assess site conditions quickly and implement appropriate safety measures.
