We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join a small, established engineering team within a busy production environment.
This is a varied maintenance role, predominantly mechanical with some electrical work. You’ll be responsible for keeping production machinery and plant running reliably, carrying out planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery and plant
- Mechanical fault finding, repairs and maintenance
- Supporting electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Preventative maintenance
- Working independently once fully trained

We’re looking for someone with:
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent
- Recent experience maintaining production machinery and plant
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Some electrical experience or knowledge would be beneficial
- Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
- A practical, hands-on approach
- A desire to find a stable, long-term position

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday - Three-shift rotation
You'll work 4 weeks alternating between earlies and lates, followed by two weeks of nights.
Earlies: 6am – 2pm
Lates: 2pm – 10pm
Nights: 10pm – 6pm
