Relief Security Officer
Are you a dedicated and reliable individual with a passion for ensuring safety and security? We are currently seeking a Relief Security Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Relief Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment across Newcastle, Durham and Middlesborough. This position involves working a mixture of shifts including earlies, lates and weekends, offering flexible hours and an opportunity to make a difference. Applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport due to site locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct foot patrols and customer service duties as assigned.
- Utilize your excellent telephone and computer skills to perform necessary security tasks.
- Maintain accurate records by completing Daily Occurrence Books and timely reporting.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Adhere to all security procedures and protocols to safeguard assets and personnel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a security-related role is preferred, although training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a combination of shifts.
- Basic computer skills to handle digital security systems and complete necessary reports.
- A responsible and trustworthy attitude with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- Must possess a valid SIA Licence either; Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
- Valid UK Driving Licence & Transport
