Drivers perform their daily responsibilities and contribute to the Company’s overall goal of operating efficiently, effectively and profitably.
The position of Holiday Relief Class 1 Trunk Driver has arisen within our Elgindepot. The successful candidate must be motivated, great customer service skills and have an excellent work ethic.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collecting/delivering freight
- Demonstrating good heath and safety practices.
- Help load and scan own and other vehicles.
- Ensuring good housekeeping while at the depot.
- Manual handling.
- Using electronic devices for scanning and proof of delivery (PODs)
Advantageous:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Clean driving licence
- ADR qualification
- Forklift licence/experience
Required:
- Cat C+E Licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Valid CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
Hours of work are Monday to Friday , covering Day and Night shifts (with sufficient notice). 47.5 hours per week.
