Job Summary
We are recruiting an experienced Delivery Driver to carry out collections and deliveries on behalf of one of the UK’s largest delivery firms. This is a full-time permanent position based in Northampton, offering a competitive salary.
Please note: A minimum of 1 year courier experience is essential. Applications without this experience will NOT be considered.
Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections efficiently and on time
- Drive a company-provided van safely and responsibly
- Use electronic handheld devices/scanners to manage routes and update delivery records
- Follow all company procedures and compliance requirements
- Meet daily performance and delivery targets
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year proven courier or multi-drop delivery experience (required)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using delivery scanners or electronic tracking devices
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Ability to follow strict company procedures and remain compliant
- Reliable, punctual, and target-driven
Vans can be arranged through third party firms.
Pay: £264.00-£276.00 per day
