Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer opportunities for professional growth within the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
- Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service in line with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Manage cash register operations and handle payments accurately using basic maths skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote ongoing patronage
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for engaging with diverse clientele
- Basic maths skills to handle transactions accurately
