Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at various event venues before, during, and after events. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work and take pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for attendees. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise event spaces, including floors, tables, chairs, and other surfaces, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling materials appropriately throughout the event duration.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other necessary items to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling event equipment and furniture as required.
- Monitor the cleanliness of restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Respond promptly to any spillages or messes during events to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards on site.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy event periods.
