Tayside based Property Development/Construction companyn are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical/Commercial Manager to lead our housebuilding technical operations and commercial strategies. The successful candidate will oversee quality assurance processes, ensure compliance with building standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with organisational goals to optimise product quality and safety
- Have the necessary Engineering and Financial experience ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage quality assurance programmes, including audits, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain high standards of product integrity.
- Lead analysis activities related to product development, process improvements, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and supply chain to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and competitive advantage.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff on quality standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management on technical performance, quality metrics, and commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Residential Construction Industry.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Demonstrable leadership skills
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Organised approach with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and process management.
- Relevant qualifications in the Construction Engineering, or related fields are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
