Monarch Access Products Ltd is a specialist supplier of working at height safety equipment, providing high-quality fall protection and access safety products to customers throughout the UK.
As an authorised distributor of a leading manufacturer, we supply a comprehensive range of height safety solutions, including anchor points, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), harnesses, lanyards, vertical ladder systems, battery-operated ladders, rescue equipment and other specialist working at height products.
As our product division continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Technical Sales Executive to help expand our customer base, develop new business opportunities and strengthen our presence within the UK height safety market.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Executive to join a growing business with ambitious plans.
You'll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships and promoting our range of height safety and fall protection products across multiple industries.
Working with contractors, facilities management companies, utilities, industrial businesses, roofing contractors and construction companies, you'll provide practical product solutions that help customers work safely at height.
This is a consultative sales role, where building long-term relationships and understanding customers' requirements are just as important as achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, industrial clients, facilities management companies and distributors.
- Promote Monarch Access Products' range of height safety and fall protection equipment.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and product recommendations.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits and product demonstrations where required.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion and ongoing account management.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Generate opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive business development.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
- Represent Monarch Access Products at exhibitions and industry events when required.
- Contribute ideas to support the continued growth of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally within the height safety, PPE, industrial safety, construction products, building supplies or technical products sectors.
- A proven track record of generating new business, developing customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations, managing sales opportunities and closing business.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced using CRM systems.
- Valid CSCS Card, enabling access to construction sites.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK as required as part of this hybrid role.

- Experience selling working at height equipment, including anchor points, harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), ladder systems, rescue equipment or other fall protection products.
- Existing relationships with contractors, facilities management companies, utilities, industrial businesses or construction companies.
- Experience in technical or specification sales.
- Qualifications or training in Sales, Business, Construction, Engineering or Health & Safety are advantageous but not essential.
