Location: Upper Northam Drive, just outside Hedge End, Southampton (SO30 4BG)
Salary:
- Level 3 Qualified: £26,000 per annum (Average 37.5 hours/week)
- Level 2 Qualified: £25,500 per annum (Average 37.5 hours/week)
- Plus: A £500 starting bonus! (Pro-rata to hours worked)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (Featuring our unique rolling shift system!)

At Busikids Day Nursery and Pre-school, we have been creating magical adventures and caring for little ones for over 28 years! Located just outside the lovely Hedge End village near Southampton, we are an independent nursery dedicated to high-quality early education.

The Role
Due to expanding occupancy and team maternity, we are hunting for an energetic, fun-loving Pre-School Practitioner to join our team of memory-makers.
If you can turn a cardboard box into a spaceship, lead an epic story time, and inspire children aged 3 to 5 to confidently explore the world, you will fit right in!
Your Daily Adventures
- Spark Imagination: Plan and run hands-on, engaging play activities that bring early learning and child development principles to life.
- School Readiness: Help our pre-schoolers build independent skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning before they head to primary school.
- Get Creative: Lead messy play, outdoor games, building challenges, and interactive storytelling.
- Be a Champion: Act as a key person, tracking developmental milestones and updating moments on EYlog to share triumphs with parents.
- Team Synergy: Support your fellow staff members to maintain a highly positive, cooperative, and safe team environment.
What You Bring to the Team
- The Essentials: A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- The Magic: Boundless energy, a patient attitude, and a genuine passion for pre-school milestones.
- The Knowledge: A solid practical grasp of child development and how to turn milestones into games.
- The Vibe: Excellent communication skills, great teamwork, and a desire to make a real impact on children's lives.
