The Mission: Proactive Growth
Your goal is simple: Growth and Reach. You will be the engine behind our digital presence, turning our products into must-have gear for the UK angling community through creative, non-traditional thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Self-Managed Content Creation: You’ll own the creative lifecycle. From organising professional shoots to capturing raw footage and gathering content from our community, you manage the workflow from A to Z.
- The Reel Specialist: You must be able to edit high-impact Reels/TikToks using trending audio and hooks. We want content that doesn't just follow trends but sets them.
- Ambassador Lead: You will manage our current pro-staff and, crucially, scout for new talent. You should be proactively finding the next generation of influencers before our competitors do.
- The Schedule: We maintain a high tempo. You will be responsible for 4 videos (Reels) per week and 3 high-quality image posts per week, plus daily engaging Stories.
- Idea Generation: You aren't just an uploader. We expect you to bring new, "outside the box" ideas to the table every week to keep the brand fresh and ahead of the curve.
The Requirements
- Industry Knowledge: Non-negotiable. You must speak the language of the UK/EU fisherman.
- Expert in social content: Viral hooks, trends and anything that is going to grow the page and built a strong community
- Proactive Mindset: You don't wait to be told what to post. You are over-proactive, identifying opportunities for content and growth before they even arise. Watching trends and analysing what other brands are doing
- The "Anti-AI" Approach: We want human connection. Your captions must be authentic, witty, and grounded in the fishing niche. If you rely on ChatGPT for "generic" captions, don't apply.
- Proven Growth: You must provide evidence (case studies or portfolios) of accounts you have personally grown or campaigns that resulted in measurable reach/customer acquisition.
- Strong Editing Skills: Must understand good pacing, correct music and styles that match the tone of video and general aesthetic.
- Organised: I am looking for someone who is overly organised, who has a plan for the weeks ahead has everything in one place that’s always accessible by our team.
