Salary: £42,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 4:45pm)

The Role
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Health, Safety, Facilities and Compliance Manager to lead health and safety, facilities management, compliance and business support services across FRC Group.
Reporting to the People and Culture Director, you'll play a key role in protecting our colleagues, visitors, customers and organisation by ensuring safe workplaces, compliant facilities and effective management systems. You'll lead and develop our Health and Safety team while working closely with managers, suppliers and external partners to maintain high standards across all FRC Group locations.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety and Compliance
- Lead FRC Group's Health and Safety arrangements and management systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements
- Maintain risk assessments, accident reporting and investigation processes
- Lead high-risk investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Ensure RIDDOR reporting requirements are met
- Lead the Health and Safety Committee and monitor organisational performance
- Ensure statutory inspections, compliance activities and training requirements are completed
- Maintain ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems and coordinate audits
- Drive continuous improvement through the identification of risks and improvement opportunities
Facilities Management
- Manage facilities across all FRC Group locations
- Oversee maintenance, cleaning, workplace standards and site security
- Manage facilities-related projects and statutory compliance requirements
- Support DSE assessments and workplace adjustments
- Ensure safe, compliant and fit-for-purpose working environments
Supplier and Business Support Services
- Manage relationships with facilities providers, telephony suppliers, outsourced IT partners and other business support suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance, service levels, contracts and associated budgets
- Coordinate contract renewals, service reviews and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records relating to suppliers, contracts and support services
- Act as the day-to-day operational contact for key service providers
Technology and Asset Management
- Manage the allocation, replacement, return and control of company mobile phones and SIMs
- Maintain accurate asset registers for technology equipment
- Coordinate starter, mover and leaver processes relating to technology and system access
- Support device procurement and lifecycle management
- Work with outsourced IT providers to coordinate operational technology requirements
- Ensure technology assets are appropriately controlled and maintained
Leadership
- Lead and develop direct reports in line with The FRC Way
- Build strong relationships with managers, colleagues and external stakeholders
- Support managers in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience leading Health and Safety within a multi-site operational environment
- Experience maintaining Health and Safety management systems
- Experience conducting accident investigations, managing corrective actions and maintaining risk assessments
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers and stakeholders
- Experience influencing others and driving positive behavioural change
- Experience producing reports and recommendations for senior leaders
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Health and Safety qualification)
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent professional experience
Desirable
- Facilities management experience
- Experience working with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems
- Experience coordinating audits and compliance reviews
- Experience managing mobile phone fleets, SIM contracts or telephony services
- Experience working with outsourced IT providers and technology support services
- IOSH Membership
- Internal or ISO Auditor qualification
- Facilities Management qualification
- Project Management qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence or ability to travel between FRC Group locations
