We are based in the South of the UK, however as the position is remote you can work from anywhere.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Self Employed Mortgage Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services and demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in helping clients secure financing for their property purchases, guiding them through the mortgage process from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ financial situations and provide tailored mortgage solutions that meet their needs.
- Liaise with lenders to negotiate mortgage terms and conditions on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, including interest rates, lending criteria, and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to generate referrals.
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients post-closing to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills to accurately assess financial data and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple client files effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mortgage brokering or finance would be advantageous but not essential.
