We currently have a vacancy for a SHUNTER DRIVER to join our team on our automotive component supply contract with Nissan.
An HGV licence is required for this role. The opportunity is 2-shift based with a basic pay rate of £17.38 per hour for a 40 hour week. Overtime rates and other benefits apply.
Successful candidates will have a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
Summary
As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the yard, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining operational flow. Reporting to the Shunt Supervisor, your core driving skills, along with Category CE Licence, will be essential in executing your duties. Your driving expertise, combined with relevant experience in delivery driving, mechanical knowledge and strong communication skills, will contribute to the overall success of our transportation operations.
