Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Shifts: Days (7:00am–7:00pm) or Nights (7:00pm–7:00am)

About the Role
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for Sort Line Operatives to join our client's busy recycling facility in Hartlepool.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for sorting recyclable materials on a busy picking line, helping to ensure waste is processed safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role suited to reliable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort recyclable materials on a moving picking line.
- Remove non-recyclable items and contaminants from the waste stream.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Keep your work area clean and tidy.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a recycling or waste environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Comfortable carrying out manual, repetitive work.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to work day or night shifts.
