About the Role
As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people to live safely and independently in their own homes across Beverley and the surrounding areas. Every day is different, and every visit is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to someone's life.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Supporting with medication.
- Preparing meals and drinks.
- Shopping and running errands.
- Light household duties.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
You'll care for people from a wide range of backgrounds, each with their own personalities, interests and routines. Whether you're supporting someone with their morning routine, preparing a meal, or simply sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, your time and compassion can have a lasting impact.
Hours & Availability
- Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. (16–40+ hours per week).
- Monday to Sunday on a two-week rolling rota.
- Alternate weekend availability is required.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have the legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Have access to their own vehicle, as you'll be travelling between clients' homes throughout Beverley and the surrounding areas (business insurance required).
- Provide contact details for at least one previous employer for a reference alongside a character reference.
- Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
A DBS certificate registered with the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
