We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Operative to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in London, with travel required throughout the UK. The successful candidate must hold a full clean UK driving licence and be confident driving a large company van.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial deep cleaning in factories, retail units, commercial and industrial environments
- Operating high and low-pressure cleaning systems (hot and cold)
- Interior and exterior power washing/pressure washing
- High-level cleaning using poles, MEWPs and specialist access equipment
- Window, building and grounds cleaning
- Operating Reach & Wash window cleaning systems
- Carpet cleaning and other specialist cleaning services
- Safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Essential Requirements:
- Previous industrial cleaning experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Experience driving large company vans
- Secure parking available to store a company van
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Good knowledge of cleaning processes and chemical usage
- Experience using:
- Reach & Wash systems
- Power washers
- Carpet cleaning machines
- Industrial cleaning machinery and specialist equipment
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments
Desirable:
- Manual Handling certification
- Experience working at height
- Experience using MEWPs
- Specialist cleaning experience
Training & Support:
Training will be provided where required, along with ongoing support and development opportunities.
Pay & Benefits:
- £14.00 per hour
- 40–48+ hours per week (depending on workload)
