The Role
We’re looking for a positive, friendly, and confident receptionist to join our close-knit team. You’ll be the first face our patients see, the calm voice on the phone, and the person who keeps the front desk running like clockwork.
Shift Pattern (8:45am – 7:45pm)
- Monday, Tuesday & Friday (30 hours)
Wage
- £12.71 per hour (with the scope to increase following the probation period)
Duties
- Checking in patients for their appointments
- Booking in patients for routine/emergency appointments and treatment
- Answering patient enquiries face to face, via telephone and email
- Managing the diaries of Hygienists and Dentists, ensuring maximum efficiency
- General administration; updating patient records, monitoring finance applications and handling post
- Providing A* customer service to our all patients
- Restocking reception sundries and tracking stock levels
- Taking card payments
What We’re Looking For
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Confident with Apple devices and AirPods
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- An organised, detail-oriented person and able to keep calm when things get busy
- Warm, welcoming personality that makes people feel instantly at ease
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations and protocol
- Dentistry knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential, if you exhibit the desire to learn
