Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Shop Assistant, 4 days weekly plus cover days shifts consist 8 hour shifts 2pm - 10pm .where your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for customers. In this role, you will assist shoppers with their purchases, manage merchandise displays, and ensure the store operates smoothly. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist with merchandising by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately while maintaining polite phone skills when needed
- Manage restocking shelves as needed and recording stock movements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment to ensure safety and visual appeal
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and cashing up skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and store upkeep
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
