Genie Homes is looking for a proactive and detail oriented Lettings Administrator to join our lettings team on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover.
We manage a portfolio of professional HMOs and single let properties and are focused on delivering a smooth, well managed experience for both landlords and tenants. This role plays an important part in supporting the lettings process, helping ensure tenancies progress efficiently and properties are managed to a high standard.
This is primarily an office based role, providing administrative support across the lettings department. There will also be occasional visits to properties for inventories, check ins, check outs and general property inspections when required.
The role involves:
- Supporting tenancy progression from offer agreed through to move in
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated documentation accurately and efficiently
- Coordinating referencing and ensuring all compliance requirements are completed prior to move in
- Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors by phone and email
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records across internal systems
- Assisting with property marketing and advert administration
- Supporting efficient turnaround of properties between tenancies
- Carrying out occasional property visits, inventories, check ins and check outs
- Providing general administrative support to the wider lettings team
We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
- Communicates clearly and professionally at all levels
- Is confident using systems and technology
- Takes a proactive approach and can work independently when required
- Has previous administration, customer service or property experience (preferred but not essential)
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle
- Is comfortable travelling to properties across the local area when required

Contract Details
This position is offered on a fixed term contract for an initial period of six months to provide maternity cover. There may be the possibility of extension or alternative opportunities within the business depending on operational requirements at the end of the contract.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm (20 hours per week).
