Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Heathfield Care Home in Ashford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. Previous experience in care home setting or janitorial services is highly desirable, though full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality.
Skills
- Previous experience in care homes or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
