Job Overview:
Loxleys is the number one greeting card manufacturer in the UK and is currently seeking an operator to work in our warehouse. The candidate should have a FLT and Reach licence and experience of a warehouse management system.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and orders
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and products
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Apply mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse machinery
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Assist in picking and packing orders accurately
- Organise and maintain the warehouse space for optimal efficiency
- Operate forklifts for moving goods within the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving processes effectively
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment used in warehouses
- Strong skills in materials handling and inventory management
- Capability to pick and pack orders efficiently
- Valid forklift certification is required.
