Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Manager, Front of House Part & Full Time as well as a Commis Chef to join our vibrant team. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills as well as delivering exceptional customer service. Previous restaurant experience and a passion for food are highly desirable.
Duties FOH
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Duties Commis Chef
- Assist in food preparation, including basic meal assembly and garnishing
- Support the kitchen team with cooking and plating dishes according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen stations
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a keen interest in culinary arts is important
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings as required
