A person is required to train in all aspects of industrial hose & coupling assembly, and become a key member of our team at our Guiseley site.
MAIN INITIAL DUTIES
· Fabrication of all types of hose assembly in accordance with works instructions
· Pressure testing of all completed hose assemblies
· Marking / engraving of completed hose assemblies and couplings
· Conversion / testing of quick release couplings
· Preparation / packing and despatch of completed hose assemblies and couplings.
· Preparation of metallic hose assemblies for our existing welders
· Checking of incoming goods
· Storage & picking of components
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
· No job specific knowledge & skills are required at this stage.
· An interest in, and basic knowledge of mechanical engineering assembly.
· An aptitude for ‘hands on’ manual work is essential.
· A level of physical fitness to be able to manipulate loads up to Health & Safety limits.
· A flexible approach towards workload & duties is required.
· A full UK Driving Licence would be an advantage, but not essential at this stage.
Training:
· Full on the job training will be provided along with progressive pay and conditions.
This is a permanent position, subject to a 3 month trial period.
Hours: 37.5 hour week
Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 4.30 pm day, with a half hour lunch break each day.
Salary: £12.71-£13.00 per hour.
