We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Person to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and take orders in a courteous and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to safety standards and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Comply with food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or working as a bar person is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
