We're recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding accountancy practice in Baildon that is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior to join its friendly and ambitious team.

The Role
Working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries, you'll be responsible for preparing accounts and building strong client relationships while working closely with the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and non-audit limited companies.
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice environment.
- Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries.
- Preparing financial statements and working papers.
- Liaising directly with clients to deliver an excellent level of service.
- Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members where appropriate.
- Visiting client premises when required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Recent experience working within an accountancy practice.
- ACA or ACCA qualification, part qualification, or be qualified by experience.
- Experience preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive, organised and hands-on approach to work.
- The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
- A desire to develop your career within a growing and progressive practice.
Desirable Skills
Experience with the following software would be advantageous:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as occasional travel to client premises is required.
