Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Removals Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting customers’ belongings, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting clients during their moving process with professionalism and efficiency. The position is full-time and involves operating various types of commercial vehicles, including lorries and vans, in accordance with all safety regulations.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and personal belongings to designated locations.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring they are secured during transit.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle checks.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the removals or logistics industry.
- Valid UK or EU driver’s licence with a maximum of 3 points
- Experience with commercial driving large or Luton vans
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting or manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and manoeuvring large items.
- Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery schedules efficiently.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to driving and manual handling is preferred.

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
