Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with established standards
- Assist in the cleaning of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and organising supplies
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed
- Ensure all areas are maintained in a hygienic and presentable condition throughout the shift
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
- Support other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Janitorial experience is advantageous and will be considered a plus
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service and teamwork
