We've been helping our members save for their future and buy their own home since 1875. Join us and you'll play a big role in helping us to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
It's a purpose that drives everything we do. And you can play your part too - join our Business Readiness team as our Transformation Communications and Engagement Manager on a 12-18 month FTC.
How you'll make a difference
We're looking for a creative, strategic and delivery-focused Communications and Engagement Manager to shape how colleagues experience the biggest transformation programme in our history.
Our Core Transformation is a multi-year programme that will change how we work, serve customers and support the Society's future. You'll create the communications and engagement strategy, roadmap and delivery plan through to 2028 and beyond, bringing fresh, creative ideas on how to engage colleagues whilst ensuring messages are clear, joined up, timely, meaningful and measurable.
What will you bring to the role?
Proven experience creating and delivering communications and engagement strategies for large-scale transformation, technology, operational or customer-impacting change.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, programme teams and business areas.
Ability to translate complex change into clear, engaging and audience-led messaging for colleagues, leaders and customers.
Creative approach to engagement, using different channels, formats and interventions to help people understand, support and adopt change.
Strong planning and delivery capability, including managing milestones, dependencies, approvals and measuring impact through insight, feedback or readiness data.
And in return, you'll get the best from us:
Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office
Annual bonus of up to 12%
Matched pension contributions up to 10%
26 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme
Colleague Mortgage and Saver products
2 days' volunteering per year
We'll give you a place to belong with the support to learn, develop and shape a meaningful career.

You'll be joining a truly purpose-focused culture which helped us win the Leading with Purpose award at the 2023 Business Culture Awards. This recognises how we've embedded our purpose with our colleagues, and the actions we've taken to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
